Like every year, on the last Sunday of this year GAABESU will be organizing Alumni Day 2020. But this year, due to unavoidable circumstances, this event will be a virtual event. Here's inviting everyone to take part in this annual event, which is scheduled for 27th December, 2020 at 7:30 PM IST.

GAABESU hosted a webinar on Saturday, 19th September 2020, at 8 pm IST, for its alumni and current student community. The webinar had a topic of 'Sharing the journey and experience at top universities in the world'. 

A seminar on 'Innovation for Global Sustainability' was held at the JIS Institute of Advanced Studies and Research, Sector V, Salt Lake, Kolkata on the 17th and 18th of January 2020.
The main theme of the seminar was 'Enabling India to develop, produce and lead through innovative products & services, to attain global sustainability.'

Over the years, there have been numerous eminent members among our alumni, who have made us all proud through their phenomenal achievements. Here are two more names added to that list. 

We are extremely sorry to inform that Prof. Smarajit Sarkar, (1990 MET) an eminent Professor of NIT Rourkela, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering Department passed away this month.
