On behalf of the Organising Committee, we cordially invite all our alumni to come together on Sunday, December 27th, 2026 to celebrate our alma mater’s rich legacy, reconnect with friends and faculty and learn of the Institute’s latest developments and achievements. Join us with your family to celebrate the Global Alumni Day-2026 at IIEST Shibpur, organised by GAABESU, starting from 9.00 am.

- CALL FOR ARTICLES
A Special issue of the souvenir called “Alumni Link” will be brought out during the occasion of “Global Alumni Day 2026”. We know many of our alumni/alumnae have exceptional talents in literature, painting, photography etc. We invite write-ups in English / Hindi /Bengali from all alumni and their family members for publication in the Alumni Link.Anything you feel appropriate for our alumni community like articles on Campus Memoirs, Photographs, Paintings, Adventurous Travel, Logic Puzzles and Brain Teasers.

REGISTRATION PROCESS
All alumni are requested to register in advance by filling up the online form using the linkhttps://forms.gle/rjKFRiTmZ8fNCapT9
The same is available on the GAABESU website too. We request that you kindly make the payment first and then register, so as to enter payment details while registering.

Alumni who are yet to become GAABESU Life Members are most welcome to do so by filling and submitting the membership form (available on www.gaabesu.in) with prescribed fees and register as GAABESU members.

- DONATIONS
As you know, the event cannot be possible without adequate funds. Given that GAABESU is primarily focused on welfare of students and development of our alma mater, any surplus funds will be utilized to fulfil the above objectives. We welcome donations from alumni and well-wishers for the welfare objectives. Fifty Percent (50%) of such donations are exempted from Income Tax in India U/S 80G of the IT Act of India. GAABESU, being registered under FCRA, can accept contributions in Foreign Currency. In line with our practice, names of donors will be published in the special issue of Alumni Link, which will be brought out on the occasion. For more details, please contact us.
